Send this before they arrive: how to get in, connect, stay comfortable, take out trash, and reach you.

Step 1 Start with the door Write the building entrance, lock, and key instructions in the order a guest will meet them.

Step 2 Add the Wi-Fi exactly Network name and password, including capitals. A photo of the router label can help.

Step 3 Show heating and cooling Point out the thermostat or remote and give one comfortable setting. Mention anything guests should not reset.

Step 4 Explain trash and recycling Say which bin is which, where it goes, and the collection day if it matters during their stay.

Step 5 Finish with a contact Your number, a backup person, and what counts as urgent. Keep it short enough to find at a glance.
